Our names are Charles and Lauren, and we are a couple in Louisiana with a passion for art, entertainment, and building communities around our interests.
We have both been collecting since we were children. Everything from Pokemon cards, toy horses, books, and video games. You name it we collected it.
We take our collecting seriously, because to us it's more than a hobby , it's a lifestyle.
We started out working our local art scene with Lauren's original art prints, paintings, and handmade crochet plushies. As her art business grew we started working at anime conventions and comicons. We both became a lot more immersed in our gaming and anime hobbies through the figures and clothing we were collecting from these events. After a vacation to Japan Lauren was really disappointed in how hard it was to find premium blind box figures, Ball Jointed Dolls (BJDs), and other adorable collectibles. After lots of talks and general anxiety we decided we could fill the gap in our local market and also build an online community. From there CollectorLife.com was born.
Our goal at CollectorLife.com is to curate a collection of figures, dolls, apparel, and general awesome content that captures the imagination of people like us.
We want to introduce people in the US market to different styles of designer toys, and provide a shopping experience that doesn't involve having to stress over knock off products, tariffs, or international shipping.
