Before you buy

  • 1/100 scale with a full inner frame. Taller than HG and RG, and the bigger parts are easier on the hands.
  • Plan on a few evenings. The big ones here, like the Full Armor ZZ and FAZZ Ver. Ka, are long builds.

Questions

How is MG different from HG and RG?
MG is 1/100 scale, so it stands taller than the 1/144 HG and RG kits. It has a full inner frame like RG, but the parts are bigger and easier to handle.

Do I need glue or paint?
No. Bandai Gunpla snap together and the colors are molded in. Panel lining and a top coat are optional extras, not requirements.

What do Ver. Ka and EW mean?
Ver. Ka marks a kit based on mechanical designer Hajime Katoki's redesign of the suit. EW means the Endless Waltz version of a Gundam Wing design.

What tools do I need?
A good pair of side cutters is the one must-have. A hobby knife or sanding sticks help clean up the small marks left where parts were cut from the runner.
