Shipping policy

Where we ship from

All orders are packed and shipped by us from our warehouse in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. We don't drop-ship, and nothing is routed through an overseas fulfiller — so a kit you order this week arrives this week rather than in six weeks.

Shipping rates

  • Free standard shipping on orders of $55 USD or more, calculated after discounts and excluding sales tax.
  • $8 flat rate standard shipping on orders under $55 USD.

Where we ship to

We currently ship within the United States only, including Alaska and Hawaii. We don't ship internationally at this time. If you're outside the US and want something from our catalogue, email us and we'll tell you honestly whether we can help.

Processing time

All orders are shipped next business day. We don't pack or ship on weekends or public holidays.

During local convention weekends our processing may take an extra day. If that's going to affect your order we'll email you rather than leave you guessing.

Delivery estimates

We ship via USPS, UPS and FedEx, choosing whichever is most sensible for the size and weight of your parcel. Once it leaves us:

  • Louisiana and neighbouring states: typically 1–3 business days
  • Elsewhere in the continental US: typically 3–6 business days
  • Alaska and Hawaii: typically 5–10 business days

These are estimates from the carriers, not guarantees. Weather and carrier backlogs happen and are outside our control.

Tracking

You'll receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number as soon as your parcel is collected. If the tracking hasn't updated in three business days, contact us and we'll chase the carrier on your behalf.

Lost, delayed or damaged parcels

If your order arrives damaged, email us within 7 days of delivery with photos of the packaging and the item and we'll make it right — replacement or refund, your choice, subject to stock.

If tracking shows delivered but you don't have the parcel, check with neighbours and your building first, then contact us. We'll open a claim with the carrier and work it through with you.

Local pickup and events

We regularly trade at events around the Baton Rouge area. If you'd rather collect an order in person than have it shipped, email us before ordering and we'll sort it out.
