Pre-order. This kit is already on its way to us from our distributor. We expect it Nov 6–9 and plan to ship pre-orders Nov 9–13, 2026. Customs clearance can push that back a few days.

This is the 1996 kit, not the new HG. It's the original HG 1/100 Gundam Leopard from Bandai's 1990s Gundam X line, in its current Bandai Spirits release. If you want the modern build, we also have the 2026 HGAW 1/144 Gundam Leopard on pre-order.

The 1/100 is bigger and has its own charm. The inner-arm Gatling swings from the back onto the left arm, the chest Gatling, shoulder missile and Hornet missile hatches open, the beam knife stores in the right shin and the missile pod on the left. Being a 1996 design, color detail leans on foil stickers. Great for collectors of the show and for a retro build.

The Assembly Experience

No glue. No paint required. Here's what building this kit is actually like.

  1. Snip
    Step 1

    Snip

Every part starts attached to a plastic frame called a runner. Snip each piece cleanly with nippers, close to the connection point.

  2. Snap
    Step 2

    Snap

This kit uses snap-fit engineering, so no glue is required. Parts click together with a secure, satisfying fit.

  3. Finish
    Step 3

    Finish

Clean up any leftover nub marks, apply the included stickers or decals, and add panel lining for extra depth if you like.

  4. Pose
    Step 4

    Pose

Once assembled, articulate the joints and pose your kit exactly how you want it displayed.

Tools You'll Want

One is essential. The rest just make the build nicer.

  • NippersEssential

For cleanly snipping parts from the runner without stress marks.

  • Hobby KnifeOptional

Cleans up leftover nub marks for an invisible seam.

  • TweezersOptional

Handy for placing small parts and decals precisely.

  • Panel LinerOptional

Adds shading to molded panel lines for extra depth.

Find Your Grade

Every Gunpla grade trades off detail, scale, and build complexity a little differently.

  1. EG Entry Grade Snap-fit simplicity with no tools required — the easiest place to start.
  2. HG High Grade The most popular scale, with great detail and a straightforward build.
  3. RG Real Grade Same compact scale as High Grade, with Master Grade-level internal detail.
  4. MG Master Grade A larger scale with an articulated inner frame and finer panel detail.
  5. PG Perfect Grade The most detailed, premium builds — best suited to experienced builders.
